Press Release Body = The late gangster rapper and film star Tupac Shakur is now the topic of a new reality TV show based on the exploits of Josh Harraway, a Tupac Shakur lookalike and impersonator. The pilot episode of Tupac Alive which will air in 2008 follows the Tupac Impersonator to performances at hip hop shows, and the 7th annual celebrity impersonator convention at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas. The show documents the countless hilarious encounters the Tupac Impersonator has with devoted Tupac fans and passersby who mistake him for the late artist while he is in costume during the course of a day.
Tupac Amaru Shakur, born June 16, 1971 was gunned down in Las Vegas, Nevada by a still unknown suspect on September 7, 1996. Just as has been the case with Elvis Presley\'s numerous fans many of Tupac Shakur\'s fans believe that the artist is still alive. The new reality TV show\'s title \"Tupac Alive\" plays on this belief and features fan\'s candid reactions to the ghost-like Tupac Impersonator ordering french fries at a McDonald\'s Restaurant, nonchalantly strolling down Las Vegas Boulevard and even riding the children\'s swings at a local playground.
While the late Tupac Shakur was an unabashed gangster and self proclaimed thug, Josh Harraway is his complete opposite. The Tupac impersonator specializes in search engine optimization, never drinks alcohol and considers chess his favorite sport.
